Education for the future.
At MbotyiOnline, we are not only committed to promoting eco-tourism and conservation, but also to empowering local communities by creating meaningful job opportunities. As part of our mission to provide sustainable livelihoods, we have launched a Guide Training Program aimed at up-skilling members of the community to become qualified guides for the Wild Coast region.
Through this initiative, we have successfully trained and qualified 10 members of the community with a First Aid Qualification in Adventure Guiding—a crucial first step toward obtaining their Nature Guide Qualification. This certification equips them with essential skills to lead and manage eco-adventures safely, ensuring that both tourists and the environment are well-protected.
The training focuses on a combination of practical skills and safety measures, preparing these aspiring guides to take their knowledge further and eventually lead guided hikes and tours throughout the breathtaking landscapes of the Wild Coast. As fully qualified nature guides, they will be able to share their deep knowledge of the area’s unique flora, fauna, and ecosystems with visitors, while promoting conservation awareness.

Our Commitment to Community Development
This project is part of our ongoing commitment to support the local community by providing employment opportunities that align with our conservation goals. We aim to train even more guides in the future, empowering individuals with the skills they need to become champions of sustainable tourism in their own region.
