For hiking

– Good running/hiking shoes (blisters are enemy #1)

– Enough pairs of socks. (I suggest wearing 2 pairs of socks each day- this stop blisters where sand gets into your shoes)

– Backpack/camel pack to carry your snacks/ water for the day

– Bottles to carry water. At least 1.5L a day.

– Snacks for the hike (energy bars etc)

– Juice concentrates

– We will have a first aid bag, but it is good to bring a few blister plasters etc just in case.

– Dry bag/zip-lock bag (for phones in-case it rains)

– Light jacket to hike in if it rains, plastic poncho also does the trick.

– Small towel to take with on the hike and use at the beach.

– Costume for the hike. (Chafe is enemy #2 so carry this rather than wearing it)

– Vaseline/chafe repair- for the above-mentioned reason.

– Caps/peaks etc.
