MbotyiOnline is a pioneering community-based eco-tourism business. Our mission is simple: to promote conservation and sustainable living along the Wild Coast. We organise and guide multi-day treks through the beautiful Northern Wild Coast area known as Pondoland.

Hike specifics
Prepare for a challenging and rewarding 4-day, 55km trek through the Wild Coast.
This journey is rated Moderate to Difficult, featuring varied daily distances (12km to 28km). We include one well-deserved rest day to recharge before the final stretch. For the serious hiker this rest day can also be hiked adding an additional 20km.
What is the cost?
*Prices above are for a group of 10. A supplementary fee applies for groups smaller than 10. Contact us for a custom quote.
*Cost is reduced by R500pp if you have 5 or more students in your group.

What’s NOT Included?
- Hiking snacks (please pack your own).
- Drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic, other than provided tea and coffee).
- Tip: You can pre-order drinks, and we’ll ensure they are cold and ready for you upon arrival each day.
- Any food purchased during transit if you utilise our shuttle service.
Getting Here: Travel Options
Self-Drive
Drive directly to Mbotyi. Your vehicle can be safely parked at a team member’s home for the duration of the trip.
Shuttle Service
We offer a convenient shuttle service from major airports.
Durban or East London Airport– R9,000 (total for the vehicle)
Port Elizabeth– Additional R3,000
